Playing crippled versions of Live over the years is what drove me to picking up a 360 in the first place.
I hope EA can see what it means for a company to actually show some respect to the pc game market. The graphics on this game put the 360 version to shame, and because the framerate is so stable, the gameplay quality also soars. Well, my prayers have been answered! Sure, I'm running sli 280 gtx, but from what Ive read in forums plenty of peeps have this game running flawlessly on much less spec'd systems. We ended up having to settle for playing on broadcast only because the framerate was at least stable. Words can do little to capture the injustice that my friends and i felt when we couldnt get a reasonable frame rate on the cameras that we liked to hoop with on the 360 version (2k or Drive). Update: Valve let us know that Steam now takes care of this issue: "Owners of the retail version of NBA 2K9 for the PC may now install their games without the CD key, provided the disc is in the drive.
